This year trio of the races for 24/12/6H started with pasta party at cafe near the course at Expocenter. Participants could register, meet friends and have a meal. Also we thought about presenting in a friendly atmosphere and without hurry the main approach of Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team towards competitions, about Self-Transcendence philosophy that allows to unfold your own potential to maximum. We hope that we succeeded.
Sep 20, 2014 at midday there were 24 runners of Ukrainian National Championship fro 24H and 12 runners of Self-Transcendence Race for 6H at the starting line. Moment of concentration in silence – and runners started their long journey on the loop of 989 m. This year we succeeded in race certification from IAU – we got bronze label. Some of the runners for the first time in their life going beyond the marathon distance. Exactly because of the growing demand of beginners in ultra-distances we included races for 12 and 6H for the first time last year. And they are popular!
